Rontis Hellas sponsors the “Saint Joseph” Greek-French School at the “Formula 1 In Schools” National Championship!
Rontis Hellas participated as a sponsor of this year’s team of the “Saint Joseph Greek-French Primary School” at the “Formula 1 In Schools” National Championship! The “F1 in Schools” Pan-Hellenic Technology Contest 2017 was held in Athens, at the department store The Mall, on Saturday 6th of May 2017.
“F1 in Schools” is one of the largest STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) competitions in the world where students from Primary Schools, High Schools, Lyceums, as well as students who have not completed their 19th years old can take part. At “F1 in Schools”, students learn to design and manufacture a Formula 1 racing miniature, using computer design tools, three-dimensional construction tools, and computer aerodynamics control programs. Then students compete themselves at local, regional and national level. The winning team of each country can participate in the final matches of the World Championship.
We are very excited that this year’s team of Rontis and Saint Joseph has won the “3rd Victory Team Award” (1st among Athens schools), the “Best Booth” Award and the award for the Test of Knowledge and Skills !!!
